With fall right around the corner, we can’t help but feel like 2009 has finally begun! Fall fashion & September issues—no comparison. The return of all our favorite TV shows, the energy of back to school shopping… There is just so much to be excited about! To kick off the season, i couldn’t have been more excited for the House of Jazmin on MTV, Project Runway premiere last week (although they moved it it Lifetime which total throws my channel flicker off) but next up: my absolute fashion favorite, The Rachel Zoe Project.

One of our favorite stylist to the stars is back—equipped with her equally adorable, always at each other’s throats, assistants Brad and Taylor—and this season looks as dramatic and action-packed as the last. I. Can’t. Wait.Season 2:Mondays on Bravo, 10/9c. I dieddddd!

So since her final clothing line for Spring 2009 in my opinion flopped in terms of "style" Lauren Conrad, former star of the MTV reality show The Hills, decided to go "best seller" on us. She recently debut her first published book called L.A. Candy (as seen below). Although Lauren continues to try to be iconic in the fashion world esp. with her fabulous fashion background; everything from being an intern for Teen Vogue & working with Kelly Catrone; she has transitioned from hit reality TV star/fashionista to novel selling author. I haven't read the book nor do I have intentions to, although a fan of Lauren, but I'm bummed that she will no longer be on The Hills, well for now atleast.

Although happy for the birth of his baby boy Knight, Nas has found himself in a financial bump with his ex-wife(baby momma), Kelis. On July 23rd Los Angeles Superior Court judge awarded Kelis nearly $44,000 a month in combined spousal and child support. Nas was also ordered by the judge to pay the mortgage on the couple’s Los Angeles residence, and for the baby nurse, prenatal expenses and medical insurance for their newly born child. Kelis' monthly income is a little over $21,000 yet monthly expenses are a little over $80,000 & this was before the birth of baby Knight...although I love Kelis as an artist but she needs to cut down on being a diva. It's a good thing Nas is planning on dropping his newest album sometime this year, b/c it seems like Kelis is tryna juice him to feed her expensive ass taste.

Her first LP, "In a Perfect World" has some hot beats and collaborations from some of the other hot ladies of the moment, miss Keyshia Cole and Trina on a track called "Get your money up", where she tells fellas, to get there cash and cars up to her standards. She is making the rules and setting the standards, not too mention she is smackin the game in the head with her style and sleek short cut. so the weather sucks big time and it has messed up my weekend in more than one way...so since I've been home this weekend bored shitless i had to find other means of entertainment; and that calls for YOUTUBE!! lol. I browsed almost anything and everything you can think of and I actually came across some pretty cool vids. Now-a-days everything has a tutorial and you would be pretty surprised on what people actually request so that they can "do it themselves". Well anyways, I came across these crazy makeup tutorials which I might add are pretty bad ass, now of course I don't wear make up & I have absolutely nothing against it...I mean my idea of makeup is lipgloss and a bit of bronzer and I'm good to go. So if you're nothing like me and actually like the blushing bride look or that extreme runway look then you'll definitely appreciate these videos.

I know many of us went crazy for this book "He's Just Not That Into You", talking about the verbals and nonverbals of dating and relationships. This was one for the readers eye (everyone was crazy for it after hearing about it on Oprah) , but now it is going to be one for the movie lovers! This movie will have some well known actors/actresses in it from Jennifer Aniston,Jennifer Connelly, Scarlett Johansson, Drew Barrymore, Ben Affleck, and many many more great names.

Expected out February 6th 2009, just in time for Valentine's dates or dumps. I suspect this is going to be the 2009 Hitch, tell a friend to tell a friend, pack up the car and drive on down to your local movie theatre to check this one out. You'll probably catch me in the back row, with my pen taking notes!

Def had to post about my girl, Keyshia Cole. Not only is she fierce with the new black hair, but she got a new album out in the stores now!!! Titled, "A Different Me", it has a very different sound from her past albums, no more man bashing (i know ladies, she was like our vocal diary, i feel you, lol) but she got a new grown and sexy sound. Dope tracks produced by Kwame, The Runners, Pollo da Don, even some smooth duets with Monica and even Tupac (you know he don't ever die). But I do give much props to Keyshia for the new sound, and I don't know but it seems to me like she got some love to celebrate?? hmm, i'll be on the look out glammers for the scooop on that...but do go and buy that album, don't download it (spend the few bucks to support a fellow sista!)

They may have moved out of their father's house, but 'Run's House' fans can expect to see more of the lovely older daughters of Run-DMC rapper Reverend Run when their own reality series gets underway.

Angela and Vanessa Simmons revealed to Blackvoices.com that the new MTV spin-off will be called 'Daddy's Girls,' and will follow their "lives in L.A. and what's going on with us," since making the bi-coastal move from The Big Apple.

Expect the new series to showcase the sisters as they evolve their popular 'Pastry' shoe and clothing line into another more grown-up brand, in addition to embarking upon other exciting ventures.

I personally cannot wait, because I just love that family..hopefully we get some appearances from Angela's mysterious beau, Terry Kennedyb(also known as TK), FlySociety && Ice Cream skateteam star, he is a hottie!!! This show is due out on MTV in January 2009, be on the look out for the commericals.

This is going to be her venture into a new job, a new relationship, new friends, a new town, and of course new dramaaaa! I cannot wait til it premiere's and the best part of it all is, all the new hot New York fashion. Watchers are kinda over the LA scene, so we are bringing it to the East Coast for some new flava...

So in honor of my friday night party session about to go down, I decided to go online and look up the hottest styles for the winter. With the passing of the summer club outfit; short shorts or Beyonce' inspired freakum dresses, we have taken on a whole new fashion.

(drum role please...) THE ONE STRAP/SHOULDER DRESS!!!
This is the hottest style sweeping the red carpets (&& Forever21) Maybe a single long sleeve, a jewel crested side strap, or even a Grecian styled one strap with a belt. They are all styles that will hit the term freakum dress running!

But ladies please don't go cutting one sleeve off your tee, or adding a strap to your tube top dress, do it classes and make sure you don't have deodorant marks, THAT'S SO NOT GLAM!

As if keeping up with the newest styles and trends isn't enough there's always people like me who have to have their nails looking up to par with the newest color for that season. If you're one who has to stay on top of your nail game and have your nails just as chic as the clothes on your back you must check out the newest color palettes from the French inspireed O.P.I line. Trust I've tried about half of them already and I LOVE them. Though Chanel and Dior also have insane seasonal nail laquers, O.P.I is the more affordable line to keep your 10 digits shimmery and fierce...

The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania University currently offers an undergraduate course that is devoted SOLEly to the sneaker culture; Sneakerology 101. Yup, you heard a correctly.
The class covers everything from the Adidas Superstar that Run DMC championed in the 80s to the day-glo throw-up currently dominating the backs of sneakerheads in the form of hoodies and graphic tees.
Bobbito Garcia’s Where’d You Get Those? - documents sneaker culture in New York from 1960 to 1987- is used as a reference as well as various sneaker sites. (LOL I wonder if they're using Hypebeast and Niketalk.com as a learning tool?)
However, like any other college course, there is a mid-term; a project that deals with the overall design of a sneaker (that sounds SICK!)...So, if you’re able to afford the $50,000 tuition next semester - openings are still available.
